Chosen Projects

Welcome to my dressing room

Marlene Köster im schwarzen Blazer, Porträt

these are my projects.

it always starts with a color

and a fabric.

then a shape.

the combination of high-quality fabrics

and an unexpected cut

creates character.

the moment when both come together —

and suddenly something exists

that before was only an idea.

a world of cuts, fabrics and silhouettes

that transforms people:

prouder, freer, more themselves.

there is no overdressing!

CO.P(R)UNK

PUNK X PRUNK (prunk: german for opulence)

Schwarzweiß: Model im Federmantel, rauchend, im Gegenlicht
Model · Emilie Gretzmeier

what punk means today

punk used to be an answer —
to rules, to conventions,
to a world that tolerated no deviation.
a group. a sign. an outcry.

today there are barely any punks left.
and yet punk never stopped existing —
it only changed its form.
punk today means: being authentic,
when authenticity has become a rarity.
not bending yourself for an algorithm
that tells you who you should be.

not chasing likes, recognition, status symbols
that others have defined for you.
punk is no longer an outfit.
no outcry against someone else.
punk is silence.

the decision to get to know yourself —
in a world that grows louder every day.
the courage to rely on yourself.
to trust yourself.
being punk no longer means
being against someone.
it means being for yourself —
and that, in this day and age,
is the most radical thing of all.

Abstraktes Gemälde in Rot, Grün, Blau und Ocker — gemeinsam mit der Großmutter gemalt
Artists: Juliane Jung & Marlene Köster
this painting was created together with my grandmother — my greatest inspiration and one of the most creative souls i know. she sees the world as a canvas overflowing with art, colour, emotion, and freedom. these colours became the beginning of my collection.

Scheherazade

Scheherazade: Porträt des Models im blauen Fellkragen

scheherazade embodies intelligence, courage and the power of storytelling. the key look unites a jacquard coat with fur trim and a silk dress with golden lace inserts — pink and gold as the colors of femininity and strength.

Ras el-Hanout

Ras el-Hanout: zwei Looks nebeneinander

ras el-hanout — named after the spice that carries the same warm color palette. a classic blouse with lace details meets a pair of trousers with two-toned legs — the contrast connects the classic with the unconventional.

Rockstar

Rockstar: Rückansicht mit besticktem Tuch

pure rockstar energy — a studded leather jacket meets a chiffon skirt with safety pins as fabric manipulation. a cloth embroidered with golden sequins connects the oriental influence of the collection with the raw energy of punk.

Dive in!

Dive in!: ganze Figur mit der Tasche aus einem Perserteppich

a blue hoodie with an embroidered red cord as lettering meets a tartan trouser — loud and provocative in equal measure. the bag made from a persian rug connects punk with the oriental.

Circus-Collage: ein Tigergesicht verschmilzt mit einem geschminkten Porträt

CO. Circus

Stepping into the circus tent was for me as a child like entering another world.

Full of extraordinary, magical, unique people with fascinating abilities. Even back then, the glittering costumes of the acrobats, the oversized clothing of the clowns, the stately uniform of the ringmaster and the animals — above all the dangerous tiger — were impressive to me.

The costumes, colors and shapes that one associates with the circus, such as the circus tent, patterns, stripes, various textures, and also clothing that allows you to present acts of showmanship — that is the inspiration for my collection.

It comes from the famous circuses of history, circus costumes from earlier times, legends such as the clown Oleg Popov or Pierrot, the famous mime.
